It is foolish for you to believe someone who conveys news to you about your peers, insults them in front of you, and reveals their secrets. So you believe him and reveal your secret to him after that. As he conveyed to you, it will be transmitted from you. Attack others, they will attack you, and just as you expose them, they will expose you. And part of the jurisprudence of life is that if you meet one of these people, you should stop him in his tracks and say to him: They are my companions. I do not allow anyone to say anything bad about them, even if you disagree with them. And do not allow such people to increase the evil between you and the people. How many small problems have grown because of them, and how many fires have increased.
